It is the school policy to give homework each night except weekends.

Reasons for homework:
* To consolidate what has been done at school.
* To promote independent learning and self-discipline.
* To keep parents in touch with what the child is doing in school.
* To facilitate completion of work done in class.

Suggested time for Homework:
*Infants - homework usually includes finishing off pictures, practising their words, reading and prayers already done in class.
*First/Second class: 30 minutes approx.
*Third/Fourth class: 45 minutes approx.
*Fifth/Sixth class: 1 hour
Homework is not given on a Friday.

Homework will be posted each night on Aladdin connect.
Our Parents' Council have kindly sponsored the subscription fees for the online platform, SeeSaw. SeeSaw will be used by teachers for homework assignments as teachers won’t be taking bundles of copies home to correct anymore. It will help to reduce the amount of books in school bags. It will also be helpful if a pupil is absent for a long period of time due to illness.
